Computer Case(Chassis)

(3 Reviews)
  • A chassis (pronounced CHasē) is another word for a computer case, aka tower. The chassis holds most of a PC's components. This doesn't include peripherals like the keyboard, mouse or monitor.
A computer chassis is commonly comprised of sheet metal enclosures, which provide drive bays and a power supply. Rear panels help to contain peripheral connectors that protrude from expansion slots and the computer's motherboard.
